Who doesn’t love pizza? Pizza is a fan favourite for sure but when it comes to your diet, all those carbs and fats are definitely going to do a number. When you have Protein Pizza Base by PBCo on your side however, this will no longer be a concern.

Prepare
Preheat a fan forced oven to 180°C and line a 30cm tray with baking paper (not greaseproof paper).
Mix
Place the contents of this pack into a large mixing bowl. Add all ingredients and whisk to combine into a smooth liquid batter.
Pour
Pour the batter into the center of the lined tray. Use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly to the edges.
Bake the Base
Place in a pre-heated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven.
Finish your Pizza
Add your favourite pizza toppings then pop the pizza back into the oven for a further 10-15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Storage
Baked, un-topped pizza must be stored in the fridge (1-4°C), for up to 5 days or the freezer (-18°C) for up to 3 months.

Shipping PolicyI tried this on Saturday instead of a cheat meal - I should have cheated. Maybe it's because I overcooked the base the first time, but the flavour was not great and reminded me of a wholemeal pizza base I had back in my fat days thinking it would be healthier, except that I was able to eat the wholemeal one. I ended up scraping the topping off and just eating that. Apart from over-cooking the base, it was pretty easy to make - but would be better if the instructions told you what size tray to use - large can be a lot of different sizes... I will review again once I try cooking it without burning!
