Mix equal parts colour gel and developer in a plastic or glass bowl until smooth. Apply to dry, unwashed hair. For previously coloured hair, apply to regrowth for 30 minutes, then pull through the lengths for 10 minutes. For virgin hair, apply from the roots and leave for 40 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.
