Delicious high protein, low calorie cinnamon pancakes made with oats, whey protein powder and egg whites. These protein pancakes are great for a low calorie, high-density pancake that will keep you full and satisfied for hours. Add cinnamon to taste, as it is essentially calorie free and utilise toppings such as fruit, granola and yoghurt for additional flavour.

1 cup Dry Quick Oats
1 scoop Genetix Whey Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder
3 Egg Whites
1/4 cup Water
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon (to taste)
STEP 1
In a blender or nutribullet throw in oats, protein powder, egg whites and cinnamon. Whiz up for 30 seconds.
STEP 2
If consistency of mixture is to thick add a little water and combine till desired mixture texture is achieved.
STEP 3
Once combined stir through baking powder to complete the mixture.
STEP 4
In a non-stick pan on a low heat pour desired pancake size. Wait till bubbles in the mixture rise and pop at the surface before flipping your pancake.
STEP 5
Try serving with mixed berries and coconut yogurt.
