Mixed review

Picked up singles of these flavours in the last week, and like so many others I have a mixed reaction. I love the nutritional profile and that there is no dairy, gluten, artificial sweaters etc.... but the texture is SUPER weird. I didn't find the flavours themselves to be repulsive, just not great. I liked the mint chocolate chip mallow bar a bit better for texture, but still find them strange as well. Overall, I'd eat them again, but will be sticking with the **** bars for my sweet-treat protein fixes.

Good nutritional value, but it tastes so bland

These bars are a nutritional dairy free food that you only consume for a forementioned nutrition. The texture tastes bland, slimy and greasy and is rather hard to hold down. However the protein and other ingredients are at good levels for a bar to have.

Couldn't finish it

Has a real chemical taste and smell. Flavour was gross and was an insult to real banana pie. It's like a chewy gelatinous slab and I couldn't eat a quarter of it.

Gut friendly protein bars!!

I can't eat standard protein bars as my gut can't tolerate whey/casein plus I don't like the artificial taste of most of them. As I am working on healing my gut with broths plus avoiding sugars, I was really pleased to find a commercial protein bar that helps my gut and helps me hit my macros (I'm over eating tuna for morning tea!). I like the taste of all 3 of the old style bars, so far I've only tried one of the new style (pineapple chunk) but they were a lot sweeter. To those who don't like the taste and don't mind a little extra sugar try the new marshmallow style NoWay bars instead, they even have chocolate chunks! for me, i'll stick to these as I enjoy them and I like that i can nibble away at them at my desk through the morning instead of inhaling them in one bite ;)

Banana and Chocolate Brownie

I am surprised by all of the negative reviews. They are not your usual protein bar. Chewy like a gummy bear. I love the banana Caramel pie and chocolate brownie. I haven’t tried the lemon curd yet but that doesn’t appeal to me. At least these bars aren’t full of artificial junk like most protein bars on the market.
