Acetyl L-Carnitine is an acetylised form of carnitine, which is resposible for beta-oxidation of long-chain fatty acids and plays a key role in cellular energy production within the body. Carnitine is found in both cardiac and skeletal muscle and has been widely used by athletes and bodybuilders. In addition Acetyl L-Carnitine has been shown to readily cross the blood-brain barrier and may help to maintain healthy brain function and memory associated with ageing.
Recommended Dosage
Two capsules, twice daily.
Take two capsules upon waking and two capsules 60 minutes prior to exercise, or as directed by your health care professional.
